Terms and waiver
Placeholder — not yet legal text. This page sets out the structure the final terms and waiver must cover. The operative wording must be drafted or reviewed by a qualified legal adviser before entries are taken. It is excluded from search indexing until then.
1. Conditions of entry
Eligibility, minimum age, required prior experience, and the organisers' right to refuse or withdraw an entry.

2. Assumption of risk
The specific hazards of this event must be enumerated rather than described generically: high altitude and the risk of altitude sickness; remote terrain with delayed evacuation times; rapidly changing mountain weather; night running; wildlife; exposure and hypothermia; falls on technical descent; dehydration and heat illness; and the cumulative effects of multi-day endurance effort.

3. Medical declaration
Fitness to participate, disclosure of relevant conditions, current medication, and consent to emergency medical treatment where the runner cannot give it themselves.

4. Emergency contact
Every runner must nominate an emergency contact who is reachable for the duration of the event.
5. Mandatory kit and safety compliance
Kit checks, the consequence of a missing item, obligation to follow marshal and medical-officer instructions, and the obligation to assist another runner in difficulty.
6. Cut-offs and withdrawal
Cut-off enforcement, the organisers' right to withdraw a runner on safety grounds, and the procedure for retiring from the event.
7. Cancellation, postponement and course changes
The organisers' right to shorten, re-route, postpone or cancel the event on safety, weather or security grounds, and what happens to entry fees in each case.
Client to confirm the refund and deferral policy. This is the term registrants query most often.
8. Fees, refunds and transfers
Deposit amount, balance and due date, refund window, and whether an entry may be transferred to another runner or deferred to a later edition.
Client to confirm whether PKR 5,000 is a deposit against a larger fee or the full entry fee.
9. Image and likeness
Whether the organisers may use photography and video of participants for promotion, and how a runner may opt out.
10. Limitation of liability
Client to supply, drafted by a legal adviser. Note that limitation clauses are constrained by law and an over-broad clause may be unenforceable in its entirety.
11. Governing law
Client to supply — the governing jurisdiction and the forum for disputes.
